Italian Coffee...my NEW favorite!

On the bag it reads:
Floral and Chocolatey
Inspired by those who served in Tuscan Coffee Houses

Doesn't that sound like a winner?! I love flowers and I love chocolate! Every single time I took a sip of this delectable coffee, I felt as if Gregg had given me flowers and chocolate. I loveeeeeeeee this coffee!

I ran out of coffee today and I didn't want to go all the way to base so I just ran to the grocery store in town. I got this really great Italian coffee. Its so yummy! It tastes so creamy and wonderful. I plan on buying one for each of my family members. We'll see what you all think!

Ava is standing...with lots of help!

Cooley Family Update

Hello! I thought I would write a post about what Gregg, Ava and I are up to these days. Gregg is doing really well here. He works day shift... doing a job that I do not really know how to explain and he is currently in school full time as well. He is working towards a management degree in Aerospace maintenance. He is also studying very hard to make Staff Sargent which is a rank higher than he is currently. We are praying that he is promoted because the pay increase would be helpful, especially since we plan on having more kids! He is doing really well juggling being a sweet husband, a good, loving father as well as working hard at a full time job and full time school. I have been settling into the role of being a mother. I really like staying home, taking care of Ava and doing all of the house keeping that a stay at home mom does. I stay really busy with Ava, the house, errands and occasional outings with friends from church. I also am going to start teaching the baby class at church. There isn't currently a little baby class so starting in July I will be teaching Ava as well as other babies from church. I cant wait! Ava is doing really well. She is getting bigger and sweeter every day.

She is such a good, happy little girl. She smiles and laughs all the time. The other day I went upstairs to get her a new, clean outfit and I came back not two minutes later and she was all the way on the other side of the rug. I have NO idea how she did it but she was upside down from the direction I had placed her and she was about 4 or 5 feet from where she should have been. She did that the other day as well but I thought I must have been seeing things. Nope, she is a little scooter but I have yet to see her do this moving! Anyways, Ava goes for her 4 month appointment soon so I will update you on how big my sweet little munchkin is getting! That's all for now! We miss all of our family and friends back home and we think about you all the time!

My Worst Bug

OKay...so I decided recently to start hanging my laundry outside. For those of you who don't already know, I do my laundry at the laundry mat. I have a British washer and dryer in one and it stinks. BAD. I kid you not, the thing takes seven hours to wash and dry a tiny load! Some really smart British engineer decided that they should create a dryer that dries your clothes with STEAM. Dumb. Anyways, so I go to the laundry mat because it saves a lot of money believe it or not. I recently have started going and washing my laundry at the laundry mat but then bringing it home and hanging it on the line. No harm done, right? I mean what is the worst that could happen?
THIS IS WHAT COULD HAPPEN.

This is my worst bug. I went out to get my laundry the other day and found this hiding in my clothing. I seriously have not worn anything that I hung out on the line ever since then. I cant risk there being another ladybug in my clothing. I also found a spider but that didn't bother me. I just smashed it. But the ladybug, I had to call Gregg to kill it. I guess spending the money to dry my clothes isn't really all that bad of a deal!

Ava is 3 months old today!

Wow! My little girl is getting big so fast. She is such a sweetie and we love her so much. She honestly is such a good little baby.

She is so cuddly and she laughs and smiles all the time.

She is our precious little girl. She is doing more and more with her hands also. She grabs things and bring them to her mouth.

She loves anything that rattles. Its funny because she concentrates on bringing the rattle to her mouth and she ends up going cross eyed:)
Here are her pictures when she is 1 and two months old.

Its so much fun watching her grow and change! I will keep you posted:)

Ava and Her Dummy

Haha! I am just kidding! Over here they call a pacifier a dummy. I think its really dummy so I wont be calling it a dummy! Hahaha!

Anyways, I am cut off talking in the video so I will tell you what I was trying to say. I was saying its funny because the other day she did the same thing only she grabbed it and then used her shoulder to push it into her mouth. I know every parent say this but I think my child is advanced well beyond her years! Maybe she LOOKS just like her daddy but when it comes to her intelligence, she is just like her mommy;)

Our Beautiful Little Girl...What a Blessing!

Ava will be three months tomorrow! Wow. Time flies! It seems like just yesterday I had a ginormous tummy and was 30 pounds overweight! I sure am sad to see that so far behind me!

I would and am going to do it over again for my another sweet little girl or boy.

Being a mom is so great. I think I was born to be a mom!

My mom taught me how to be a mom and I plan on doing the same thing for Ava.

The Market

Hello! Friday morning Gregg, Ava and I walked to downtown Mildenhall to go to the market that goes on every Friday. It could not have been a prettier day! I actually wore a tank top and a cover up but got too hot with the cover up on. It was wonderful!

The fruit stand looked amazing! We ended up getting 10 pounds of fruit which is about 15 dollars.

We went a little crazy because it all looked so good and so fresh. We will eat every bit of it though because we eat so much fruit. I had some of the pears we bought today and they are the best, most juicy pears I have ever eaten. Yum:) There wasn't a whole lot down there that we were interested in besides the fruit. One of the tents had candy and snacks in it but since that is bad and will make me fat, I didn't stay long in that tent.

I took a picture of a really funny cookie thing they have over here. They are called Hobnobs and they are really good.

From the wrapper, I learned they are a "Nobbly Biscuit". Lol, whatever THAT means! Anyways, we had a lot of fun and we got some really good fruit! Gregg has off this coming Friday as well so we will be able to go again:)

What a cutie!

Yummy Snack!

Hello! I have mentioned before that Gregg and I are trying to eat healthy and we are also watching how many calories we eat. Well, this is going to be my afternoon snack!

It's delicious and its only 36 calories! I usually keep my meals to right around 300 calories and then I eat little snacks like this throughout the day. I have already prepared my afternoon snack because I, like most of you, when I am hungry will go into the kitchen and eat something that I immediately regret eating. I avoid this by having healthy snacks prepared in advance. I also will probably add 15 calories of sugar( 1 tsp), making it a little sweeter. That makes the whole snack 51 calories! Not bad:) Doesn't this picture make you want to go out and buy fruit?! We will be buying more tomorrow at the market in Mildenhall. I will post pictures! Bye for now:)

Bowling Fun

Hello! Gregg and I went bowling this afternoon after he got off of work. Wednesdays are a good day to go bowling because its $1.25 a game and $.75 for shoes. Not bad. We bowled two games and it was a lot of fun!

Until...

Gregg beat me both games. It was sad. I played a pretty good second game but my first game was terrible! I needed bumpers. Anyway, you might be wondering where Ava was in all of this. There she is!

Well that's all for now!
