Hello! I have been looking all over for a push toy/stroller for Ava's birthday. I know it is forever away but I found this at a cute store over here and couldn't resist! Isn't it sweet?!

Don't Cry Mommy

This morning I was laying in my bed with Ava playing and having a good old time. I decided to pretend to cry to see what she would do. She watched me for a minute and then she took the pacifier from her mouth and tried to put it into mine. Ava seems to know the magical powers of the pacifier! Sweet girl.

Play Date/Shopping Trip in Bury

Today I went to Bury with a friend of mine and her little baby girl. Her baby is 4 months old so Ava and Alexia had a play date today. We called it a play date before we left but it turned into a shopping trip. What can you do? We ate at a place called "The Grapes" and it was really good! My friend had been there before and I decided to trust her judgement. I cant complain. I got a really great burger and some awesome fries. She has one of those really good cameras so she took tons of pictures and once she send them to me I will post them. We went to Abbey Gardens which was absolutely beautiful. You are not supposed to walk on the grass in the gardens but I wanted pictures of Ava by the flowers so we quickly set her down and snapped a few before I quickly snatched her up again. No one seemed to mind though. Everyone stopped to watch. It was also a gorgeous day! We couldn't have gone on a better day. It was a lot of fun. One of my favorite stores over here is Monsoon. They have a store that is connected to them called Accessorize and they have AMAZING accessories. Monsoon has the cutest and most expensive baby clothes in the whole world but if you catch a sale...like we did today...you get great deals! Here are a few of the things I picked up.

Ava is almost six months old!!

Hello! I wanted to update my blog with a few pictures of Ava taken in the last couple of weeks. She has such a sweet little personality! We are loving watching her grow up.

Here she is doing something that makes me think she will crawl soon. She can push up on her hands and knees. She doesnt move any direction but backwards...but hey, its a start!

Our Trip to the States

Hello!! I have neglected my blog for far too long! We just got home from our vacation to the States. It was so much fun seeing our family in Minnesota, Oklahoma and Texas. We went to Minnesota originally but from there we went on a road trip to Oklahoma and then from Oklahoma to Texas and back again. It was a lot of driving to do with such a little one but it was a lot of fun!
We stayed with my sister and my brother in law in Oklahoma for a few days. We got to see them as well as my sweet nieces Georgia and Chloe and we also got to see some friends from the congregation we attended before we left Oklahoma.
I had so much fun with my sister Kristin. It was fun staying with them because we got to stay up late and talk. Gregg also enjoyed visiting with Kevin and Kristin. From Oklahoma we went on to Texas to visit another sister, her husband and her 3 sweet little children. It was such a blessing to see them. We did a lot of shopping and I got some adorable necklaces from a few cute boutiques. We also went and got pedicures and I guess I made the lady mad because mine and Autumn's feet were almost scolded off. Sorry about that Autumn! Also, I wanted to say something about our time in Minnesota. I loved being there and getting the chance to visit with my mom and my dad. The time went too fast. I also loved spending time with my brother and little sister. I only call her my little sister so you can distinguish her from the other sisters I have already talked about.
Priscilla is so much fun and I enjoyed having time to spend with her. On the last night we had to spend together, she asked me what I wanted to do on my last night in the states. Twenty minutes later we were walking into Walmart! :) Gregg also had so much fun spending time with our family and especially spending time with all of the guys in the family. It was a great time with family and we didn't want it to end. We came back refreshed and with a very spoiled child! She doesn't like being alone ever now that she has to touch the ground for the first time in 3 weeks. Haha! Anyways, here is a photo collage that sums up our trip to the states.
